About me
I’m a different kind of leadership coach and HR consultant.
My career has never followed a traditional path.
I’ve worked in finance, people and culture, and business leadership, giving me a perspective that’s different from most leadership coaches and HR consultants.
Starting as a Chartered Accountant, I went on to hold senior finance, HR and sales leadership roles at EY, Lion, Mercury, Stuff and Fonterra – leading teams, delivering results and building award-winning workplace cultures.
Alongside this executive experience, I qualified as an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and a Workplace Inclusion Accredited Professional.
Today, I combine my accounting and commercial background with deep expertise in coaching, facilitation and inclusive cultures to help leaders thrive and build healthy workplaces.
My story
My work is deeply personal. I’ve held executive roles and felt the pressure to deliver results. I struggled in my early years as a manager when I hadn’t learned the skills to lead well. And I’ve worked in unhealthy cultures and experienced their impact on my wellbeing.
But I’ve also experienced the sheer delight of leading high-performing teams, learning from exceptional leaders, and building working environments where people and performance thrived together.
Throughout my career journey I’ve had to step outside my comfort zone, continually learn new skills, and redefine what success looked like as I moved between different professions, roles and industries.
The lessons I’ve learned have shown me the profound impact leadership and workplace culture have on people’s lives. That’s why I do the work I do: helping leaders grow, teams thrive and workplaces become places where everyone can flourish.
